The Toronto Blue Jays have announced that they’ve declined Yangervis Solarte’s $5.5 million team option for 2019.
Solarte’s not a free agent. He’s still arb eligible and remains on 40-man roster. #BlueJays have until Nov. 30 to either tender Solarte a contract, trade him or cut him loose via non-tender

Disappointed to see Yangervis Solarte’s option not picked up. Unless they are looking at a new deal. A guy like Solarte is a valued asset. https://t.co/nsXy1xxDGw

Solarte slashed .267/.330/.492 with 11 home runs and 32 RBI in his first 50 games as a Blue Jay.
