Marcus Stroman chimes in on Machado and Harper

In a slew of recent tweets from Marcus Stroman, he leaves his thoughts on the AL East, as well as his predicted landing spots for Manny Machado and Bryce Harper.

Marcus Stroman has never been one to keep his opinion from others, and today was no different. In a slew of tweets from Stroman earlier today, he leaves his opinion on the Machado and Harper sweepstakes, as well as the rest of the AL East.

According to the Blue Jays hurler, Bryce Harper and Manny Machado are both going to end up with the Yankees this offseason, you can’t sleep on the Orioles, and the Astros should move to the AL East.

At this point in time, Manny Machado signing with the Yankees seems inevitable. Bryce Harper, on the other hand, isn’t so likely to be heading to the Big Apple anytime soon. Earlier this offseason, Yankees GM Brian Cashman said that his team already has 6 outfielders and Harper playing 1B for them isn’t a realistic option.

After a great 2017 season in which he won the AL Gold Glove, Stroman battled multiple injuries last season and struggled to stay on the field, as well as struggling to find success while on the field.

Dealing with a blister on his pitching hand as well as shoulder fatigue, Stroman pitched to a 5.54 ERA over 102.1 innings.

In regards to Stroman’s first tweet, he wasn’t kidding about hitting the gym. A few hours later, he posted a video of him working out on Twitter.

Stroman, who has been involved in trade rumours all Winter, has stayed positive. He has continued to voice his opinion on various topics, tweet motivational quotes, and post his workout videos on Twitter and other Social Media platforms, much to the dislike of others, who thinks he needs to tone it down on social media.

Next: The many links between the Blue Jays and Giants

Although Blue Jays fans surely love Stroman’s positivity about the upcoming season and the always tough AL East, Blue Jays fans themselves probably don’t have the same optimism.
