Marcus Stroman is excited for the future and you should be too

Toronto Blue Jays hurler Marcus Stroman is excited for the future crop of kids poised to break into the majors with the team in 2019.

Marcus Stroman rarely shies away from the limelight or an opportunity to keep his fans informed on Twitter. The voice of the Blue Jays not only expressed his excitement for next year but also dropped a subtle hint that he hopes the new young wave are all working and training.

Stroman tagged Vladimir Guerrero Jr., Bo Bichette, Cavan Biggio, Nate Pearson, Griffin Conine and the Blue Jays in the tweet. The younger hurler definitely leads by example as witnessed on his social media, Stroman is grinding in the gym every single day in preparation for the upcoming campaign so his words will surely resonate with the young talents.

Prior to that Stroman had tweeted about Pearson hitting 104 mph during the Arizona Fall League comparing the young fireballer to Joe Kelly and matter of factly stating he needs Pearson in the show next season.

Stroman is going to be a big part of these kids development when they reach the majors. You could see the impact that he already had on the likes of Ryan Borucki and others last season. Stroman is a big personality but he is also respected in the room and has the track record in the majors to back it up.

You get the feeling he takes great pride in mentoring the rookies and truly loves playing in Toronto and in front of an entire county. Stroman gets it and puts himself out there which sometimes leads to unnecessary criticism from the peanut gallery.
