Toronto Blue Jays fans are going to want to enter an online lottery starting Tuesday for their chance to get tickets to a player autograph session when the team’s Winter Tour comes to town next month.
Kevin Pillar, Devon Travis, Luke Maile, Ryan Borucki and Danny Jansen will all be in Halifax on January 11 and 12.
“This two-day winter tradition is a chance for the Blue Jays to recognize and thank fans, and give back to the communities that support Canada’s team each baseball season,”
The autograph session goes the night of the 11th at Pier 21 and the $5 tickets will only be available to those whose names are randomly drawn in the lottery.
Fans can enter between Tuesday, Dec. 4 at 11 a.m. and Wednesday, Dec. 5 at 10:59 a.m.
While in Halifax, Pillar, Travis, Maile, Borucki and Jansen will visit the IWK Health Centre and CFB Halifax.
They’ll also host an amateur baseball clinic with Baseball Nova Scotia and an adaptive baseball clinic for athletes from across the province enrolled in the Challenger Baseball program through Jays Care Foundation.
